Isis

The Egyptian goddess of magic, kingship, motherhood, and resurrection.

Legend File

Isis is one of ancient Egypt's most enduring goddesses, celebrated for magic, protection, motherhood, and royal power. In the Osiris cycle she searches for her murdered husband, restores him enough to conceive Horus, and protects the child who will challenge Set. Her cult later spread widely across the Mediterranean, carrying Egyptian myth into new settings.
