Zeus

The Greek chief deity of sky, weather, thunder, oath, order, and Olympian sovereignty.

Legend File

Zeus turns the sky into law. From Olympus he governs storms, oaths, hospitality, kingship, and the fragile balance among gods and mortals. His myths can be majestic, troubling, comic, or violent, but they all make one thing clear: weather and rule belong together in the Greek imagination, and thunder is never only weather.
