Sekhmet

The Egyptian lioness goddess of war, solar wrath, disease, healing, and dangerous protection.

Legend File

Sekhmet is the heat of the sun when it becomes a weapon. Lioness-headed and fierce, she destroys enemies of Re, but the same force that brings plague can also guard against disease and restore health. Her mythic danger is double-edged: a protector can become catastrophe if rage is not ritually cooled.
