Marduk

The Babylonian chief god who defeats Tiamat and organizes cosmic kingship.

Legend File

Marduk rises through a story of crisis, battle, and political theology. In the Babylonian creation epic, the gods elevate him to face Tiamat, and his victory becomes a charter for order, kingship, and Babylon's religious prestige. His myth is as much about organizing power as it is about slaying a chaos monster.
