Cú Chulainn

The Irish hero of the Ulster Cycle, famed for battle frenzy and tragic fate.

Legend File

Cú Chulainn is the blazing hero of the Ulster Cycle, young, brilliant, and doomed. His battle frenzy transforms him into something nearly monstrous, and his greatest stories mix impossible combat with binding promises and tragic choices. He is heroic because he can stand alone, but tragic because standing alone is exactly what fate demands.
